RCL 122 Gives Back to the Community

At the May General Meeting there were three funding applications approved.

1: Golden Dolphin Swim Club:  $500.00 

Approval was given based on The Golden Dolphin Swim Club utilizing the funds toward the cost of pool rental, upgrades to equipment and expenses associated with hosting and attending swim competitions.

2: 1^st Golden Girl Guides:  $500.00 

Approval was given based on the 1^st Golden Girl Guides utilizing the funds toward their trip in Agassiz BC.

3: The Golden Food Bank: $500.00

Approval was given based on these items assisting those in need of them.

_{All of the funds raised by The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #122 through it's weekly meat draws and 50/50 draws are given back to Community organizations.}

_{We have to abide by very strict Royal Canadian Legion rules as well as the rules set out by the BC Lottery commission. Each month our Finance Committee reviews all letters of request for funding. Funding is granted to successful applicants as need and resources permit. All funding is approved by the members at the Monthly General meetings, which are held on the fourth Monday of the month.}
